    Description

    A very nice vintage teddy bear with border cookie stamp with glazed handle designed and handcrafted by Eleanor Rycraft, classic teddy bear stamp measuring 2" in diameter.  The image on the cookie stamp is indented so the image on the cookie will be raised.
    The cookie stamp is gently used and in excellent condition.  No chips to the terra cotta stamp or glazed top!  The recipe card and helpful hints may be a photocopy of the one in the photograph as I only have one recipe and helpful hints card and three cookie stamps for sale on Ebay.  The original card will be sent with the first stamp sold.
    The older Eleanor Rycraft designs are highly collectible and the classic teddy bear with border is one of them.  Eleanor Rycraft and her husband Carroll started Rycraft on their family farm in Corvalles Oregon in 1968.  They handcrafted the finely detailed terra cotta cookie stamps in the fashion of the wooden Scandinavian style cookie stamps you see in antique stores today.
