vintage 1938 Speigel Credit Bank Account Book: art deco shirtless men on cover

Description

Here is a pre-owned vintage Spiegel Credit Bank Account Book with a receipt inside dating the book to at least 1938 - the depression era and a period when art deco was popular.  This bank book is unusual in that it features three classically chiseled shirtless men on the cover, posed with a set of scales, a globe and book.   The stylized pose is reminiscent of the art deco style.  The bank book measures about 5 3/4 X 3 5/8th inches.   The customer's name is stamped inside with an address of Port Trevorton, PA.   It features several receipts and some entries.
