ABOUT:
Beautiful delicate antique carved onyx earrings in 14k rose gold, unmarked but tested.  They dangle slightly with a round carved stone with a striped / linear pattern on it.   And each earring has a wire that latches to itself in the back.  Victorian to Art Nouveau era pair of earrings that I acquired in Europe.  I was told by the dealer I purchased them from that they were onyx but looking online I wonder if they might be French jet? as I saw some similar labeled as such.
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
Very dainty, the black stones measure about 7.5mm and about 12mm from the top of the curved wire to the bottom of the stone.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
As with all my pieces this is in estate condition.  Looking at the earrings from the side, one is ever so slightly carved taller than another.  They are both nested secure in the wires and snug to the back side, but one was just carved a bit differently.  I don't think it would be noticeable when wearing but please look for that in photos.  Some discoloration or build up around the backs.   Still nicely shaped, I don't see any dents or deep wear.  The gold is beautiful and it is a very sweet pair.
Some surface wear and scratches from wear over the years but that's about it. But as with all my pre-owned pieces - Please note this is not a mint condition item.
