7 oz (200 ml) Renaissance Wax
Refined waxes blended to a formula used by the British Museum and restoration specialists internationally to revive and protect valuable furniture, leather, paintings, metals, marble, ivory, etc. Freshens colors, imparts soft sheen.
Directions: Apply sparingly with soft cloth and buff gently. Dries hard instantly. Resists spillage. Does not show finger marks.

Renaissance Wax polish was originally formulated in the British Museum research laboratories in the early 1950's, in response to a discussion amongst museum technicians at an international conference on fine-art conservation.
The short story on this is that natural waxes like carnauba and beeswax contain acids which could, over time, harm your artifacts.  The British Museum technicians turned to man made waxes for long term protection of all classes of museum exhibits.  This product has been available commercially since 1968.  It has a micro crystalline structure that is much finer than natural waxes.  This fine structure makes it an excellent waterproofing agent.
The shelf life of Renaissance Wax is many years.  It will remain in perfect condition long after other waxes have caked hard and become useless
