Description
The Edwardians were the master of using platinum to create exquisite delicate designs that were not possible to execute prior to the use of platinum. This is a spectacular example. This lovely bouquet of glinting rose-cut diamonds and lustrous natural seed pearls is all wrapped up with ribbons and bows in this very sweet and feminine Edwardian-era jewel, circa 1910.
Lightly and lovingly hand-fabricated in platinum, this unique and delicate pair of earrings exemplifies the curvaceous, lacy openwork for which jewels of La Belle Époque are justly admired and prized.
The circular shape holds the flower basket and suspends from a platinum topped diamond set French hook.
