1871 Antique European Earrings solid 18K Gold Seed Pearls / 4.7gr

pair
of antique earrings with delicate three tiers bodies decorated with natural seed pearls and engraved ornamentations.
Freely suspended drop shaped dangles make this design complete.
Swedish hallmarks on both, marked 18K Gold.
Swedish hallmarks : maker's GD&Co, city of Malmö, date marks R5 = made in 1871.
Each earring is 45 mm long suspended. Each floret with pearl Ø 5 mm. Weight: 4.7 grams pair.
Condition is fine used, patina on metal, one drop shaped pendant has a small dent.
I already have listed a very similar Swedish pair from the same maker made in 1866 that shares basically the same design but there are some minor differences. Namely : construction of hooks , length of drops, pattern of engraved ornamentation and weight differ a bit. Hooks on the other pair are likely not originals but this pair was not modified at all.
This is a very rare occasion when I have two truly old pairs of Earrings of the same maker,design and period in my inventory.
